Description

The Gemeinde Steinkirchen adopted arms on 8th February 1983, blazon: Argent, a chevron arched Gules, masoned Argent, between in chief a crown Gules and in base a triple mount suspended Vert. At the same time a flag of green-white-red was adopted. It must show the arms (otherwise it could be mistaken for the Italian flag).

Crown in the coat-of-arms of the convent Freising;
Pointed arch in the church of Steinkirchen;
Hilly landscape around Steinkirchen.
